Reply with quote | #1 | All right, Halloween has passed. The weather is cold and the leaves are falling. It's time to kick Sat open hockey into high gear...
Who is in for this Sat?

Still need a few more. I'll make the call tomorrow at noon whether game on or game off. Check back then and spread the word! Need 2-3 more. Thanks. |

Reply with quote | #15 | Game on! Looks like we have just enough to play, perhaps one sub. For newbies:
Bring 2 shirts: One dark, one white. (Gray, yellow, pink... no good.) This is for when we mix up teams. If you have some hockey balls, feel free to bring them for warm-up.
Location is the church just north of Thorndale, one block west of Broadway (Magnolia, I believe). On the northwest corner of Thorndale and Magnolia, then. Just head past the courtyard/play area and up the few steps into the church. Once you go in, you'll see a flight of stairs in front of you. Head up those to the gym on the next floor.
BRING WATER! THEY DON'T HAVE A FOUNTAIN, just a machine (which may or may not be empty) and restroom faucets that are small--tough to refill water bottles from.
See ya there! (It will be $8 per person today, most likely. Play is 4-6pm.)
